Report an image on TopGeorgia that copies your work.
Our policy
Businesses and fans upload their own photos and logos to TopGeorgia. We respect copyright and respond to notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. 512). If an image on a listing or fan page copies your work without permission, send a notice below. A person reviews every notice. When a notice is complete, we take the image down and tell the person whose page it was on.
We end the accounts of people who repeatedly upload work that isn’t theirs. Something else wrong with a page? Who can be on the board explains how to report it.
Send a takedown notice
Fill in every required field. A notice missing any of them may not be valid under the law.
You can also send the same information by email to our designated agent: hello@topgeorgia.com.
Counter-notice
If we removed your image and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, email hello@topgeorgia.com with:
- Your name, address, phone number and your physical or electronic signature.
- The page the image was removed from, and which image.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the image was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, outside the U.S., any judicial district where TopGeorgia may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the notice or their agent.
We forward your counter-notice to the person who sent the notice. Unless they tell us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action, you may upload the image again 10 to 14 business days after we receive your counter-notice.
